Valentine’s is covered, thanks to Living Locurto

Baggies o' Fun

In my mind’s eye, I am organized.  I am prepared.  I am woman, hear me roar.

Reality?  Meh. Not so much.

But today, reality matches mind’s eye.

I found a really talented blogger, Amy, and her blog Living Locurto.  Amy generously, and I mean generously, shares downloads for making all sorts of easy, cute tags, labels, printable cards, DIY projects, calendars, menu schedules.  I was reading her site and found darling Valentine’s tags that you attach to a baggie filled with treats.  I made two sets, one for my bud Joe in St. Louis so he could treat the SuperStars on Friday.  I made another set for Little J’s party which will be this Friday.  I made 51 baggies in all.

But here’s the cool part.  Because Amy inspired me and made the project simple and cute, I am finished with all 51 bags.  The ones that needed to be in St. Louis this week are on their way, and Little J’s bags are tagged and ready.  What a feeling to be ready for the party 3 days in advance.  It usually doesn’t happen that way.  I’m usually up late, late, late the night before stressing because I don’t have a plan or supplies or energy and Little J goes to school, taking lame-looking treats.

So Little J, go to that Valentine’s Day party with your head held high.  You have a finished product to give out, compliments of Amy and Living Locurto.

Happy Valentine’s Day, Amy.  I owe you a big cafe’ latte.  Or a baggie full of candy.

For you, Amy :>)

P.S. All goodies, including the baggies, came from Dollar Tree!  Love me some Dollar Tree.
